Since 2015, The Georgetown University Film Festival has been orchestrated by a group of student film lovers as a celebration of film—both novice and acclaimed.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide a global platform for student, emerging, and professional filmmakers to exhibit captivating work in a short format. Through this platform, we hope to introduce audiences to new work from members of their own communities and continue to support outstanding filmmakers.

2023 FESTIVAL

GUFF 2023 will take place from April 13th through April 14th. This year, we are showcasing one feature film The First Step, and 19 shorts in 3 programs, including Comedies, Animations, Dramas, Narratives, and Documentaries.

We have received film submissions from 25 countries. Our selection of shorts includes films from Sundance, SXSW, and DCEFF, making for a diverse and captivating experience. Feel free to check our trailer of GUFF 2023 ~
