Wenyue Hu, Operations and Programming Teams
Hometown: China
Wenyue is a Graduate Student in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown. She comes to DC from China, and decided to take part in GUFF because she really loves watching films! Wenyue is super excited to take on multiple roles to make this year’s festival as successful as possible.
Soo Min Lee, Programming Team
Hometown: Seoul, Tokyo, & New Jersey
Soo Min is a Junior in the College majoring in Government. She enjoys spending her time playing squash and hanging out with dogs! As someone who loves watching TV and movies, Soo Min is super excited to be a part of GUFF 2022. In fact, she even used to watch the Telluride Film Festival every year in high school!
Zhuoqian Li, Programming Team
Hometown: China
Zhuoqian (Bess) is a Graduate Student in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program. She loves watching films at the local Georgetown AMC, street dancing, reading books, and eating hotpot! Zhuoqian’s favorite part about collaborating on this year’s GUFF team is the ability to watch so many diverse films and engage in thoughtful dialogue about them with fellow students.
Liam Musumeci, Programming Team
Hometown: New York, NY
Liam is a Senior in the College, majoring in History and minoring in Film and Media Studies. He is a huge sports fan, and himself loves hiking and boxing. Like many of his other classmates, Liam is also a movie fanatic, and particularly enjoys watching thrillers, crime films, and sitcoms. He hopes to one day work in the writing and production realm of the entertainment industry, and is currently working on his Senior Capstone short film project called ‘Tarot’!
Natalia Wolny, Programming Team
Hometown: Des Plaines, IL
Natalia is a Senior in the College, majoring in English and minoring in Film and Media Studies. She loves reading, animals, going to concerts, and is also a musician – she can sing, play the ukulele, and the piano! Natalia hopes to work in the entertainment industry at the intersection of music, film, and television, and has prior experience working on the Double Exposure Film Festival!
Cooper Rumrill, Operations Team
Hometown: Cape Cod, MA
Cooper is a Senior in the College studying English. In his free time, he loves to play guitar, as well as explore different bars and restaurants around DC! As a member of the Operations team, Cooper is looking forward to putting on a great event for this year’s festival.
Emma Rose Wooten, Marketing Team
Hometown: Nashville, TN
Emma Rose is a Sophomore in the College studying Anthropology and Film and Media Studies. Her hobbies include sourdough baking, ceramics and pottery, film photography, dancing, and folk music, but she’s always looking to add more – like skateboarding! Emma Rose has experience in marketing and videography as a Georgetown Storyteller, but hopes to even further build up her interests in film during her time at Georgetown.
William Prout, Programming Team
Hometown: Riverside, CT
Will is a Junior in the College majoring in Government. He loves music, movies, and TV, and in his free time, loves to hoop at Yates! Will’s love for movies comes from his parents, who are also avid movie watchers. He loves watching a complete spectrum of short films and overall enjoys the experience of working with his classmates to put on the best festival.
