Damaris Zielke was born in southwest Germany in 1992. She studied visual communication in Weimar at Bauhaus University and continued studying animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Wurttemberg from 2016 to 2021. Working as a freelance Motion Designer & Animator on different TvProductions and Documentaries at the same time. In 2019 she took part in the 6-week Lucerne Masterclass for Advanced Animation (LuMAA) in Switzerland. Currently, she is working as an Animator in London.

Today, death takes place in hospitals and cemeteries. Not in living rooms and in the presence of children. You can banish it from your own walls, at least for some time. Our society should not make death a taboo, and since we cannot whitewash this topic, we should find a healthy way of dealing with the subject. Death is part of life and should be moved back a little bit closer to the center of our society.

This motivation is at the heart of the project: "The most boring granny in the whole world."
